Most patients describe the treatment as mildly uncomfortable but very tolerable, thanks to the numbing cream.

To ensure the safest and best results, please follow these guidelines before your appointment.

 

Avoid the following for 3–5 days before treatment:

 

• Retinoids or tretinoin

• Exfoliating acids (AHA/BHA)

• Chemical peels

• Waxing or aggressive exfoliation

• Excessive sun exposure

 

Please arrive with clean skin and no makeup on the day of treatment.

After microneedling, it is normal to experience:

 

• Mild redness similar to a sunburn

• Slight swelling

• Skin sensitivity

 

These effects typically resolve within 24–48 hours.

 

For best healing and results:

 

• Avoid makeup for 24 hours

• Avoid sweating or intense exercise for 24 hours

• Avoid retinoids and exfoliants for 5 days
